Why people like it
Taghazout has grown from fishing village into the country's surf and yoga hub, with Tamraght and its Devil's Rock beach next door. The drive from Essaouira is one of the finest coast roads in Morocco: Cap Ghir, the banana groves of Tamri, dunes falling into the ocean.
What you can do
- Surf or take a lesson at Anchor Point, Panorama or Devil's Rock.
- Lunch on a rooftop over the harbour.
- Walk the beach to Tamraght or watch the sunset from Imourane.
- Add Paradise Valley in the hills behind, if you leave early.
- Stop at Imsouane on the way down.
Good to know
A long day; many customers turn it into a one-way transfer and stay. We can quote both.
How it works
- You choose the date, the departure time and the return time. Nothing is fixed in advance.
- Your driver takes you there, waits for you on site and brings you back. You visit at your own pace, no guide, no group.
- We reply with one price for the car, whatever the number of passengers it carries. You pay the driver on the day.
