1. Who we are

The moroccobluetaxi.com website is run by Mounir Z., a taxi driver in Essaouira, Morocco. For any question about your data: info@moroccobluetaxi.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account and bookings: name, email address, phone number, country, preferred language, and your trip details (pickup and drop-off places, dates, times, number of passengers, flight number and any special requests you write).
  • Messages: what you send us through the quote and contact forms, by email or on WhatsApp.
  • Reviews: your rating, your comment and, if you agree, your first name, country and a photo for publication on the site.
  • Technical data: IP address, approximate country and browser type, recorded to keep the site secure (logins, protection against bots and abuse).
  • Audience measurement: pages viewed, where visits come from and clicks, collected by an audience-measurement service using cookies.

We never ask for or store card details: you pay the driver in cash.

3. Why we use it

  • To organise and confirm your trips, contact you about them and send you booking emails.
  • To answer your quote requests and messages.
  • To protect the site against abuse, fraud and bots.
  • To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

4. Who receives it

  • Our team of drivers, to carry out your trip.
  • Our technical providers, to run and improve the service: website hosting, email delivery, file storage, audience measurement and bot protection, and messaging apps used to contact you and to alert our team about new bookings.

Some of these providers are located outside Morocco and the European Union, including in the United States.

5. Cookies

  • Necessary cookies: signing in to your account, form security and remembering your language.
  • Audience measurement: Google Analytics cookies, to count visits statistically.
  • Bot protection: Google reCAPTCHA on the sign-in, sign-up and contact pages.

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, or block audience measurement with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site still works, but signing in to your account needs the necessary cookies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and booking data as long as your account exists, or as long as it is useful for the service and our obligations. Audience-measurement data is kept for 14 months. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to info@moroccobluetaxi.com. We reply within one month. You can also contact the data-protection authority of your country (in Morocco, the CNDP).

8. Changes

We may update this page; the date at the top shows the latest version.
